OBAR's 33rd annual charity golf tournament at the beautiful Kilmarlic Golf Course in Powells Point, NC was held on Friday June 2nd. The event was a hit with golfers and sponsors alike, as 26 teams of golfers enjoyed a friendly competition and a sunny day on the greens, while raising over $10,000 for OBAR's Disaster Relief and Scholarship funds held with the Outer Banks Community Foundation.
The champions of the tournament were The Matt Myatt Group, consisting of Matt Myatt, Jason Beasley, Beau Spivey, and Casey Varnell. They scored a 56 in the captains choice format. They received the coveted championship trophy and gift certificates to the Kilmarlic Pro Shop.
