Out of 100 members that completed OBAR's Fairhaven Challenge, Ellen Heatwole won the $500 gift cart for completing NAR's Fairhaven Challenge as presented by OBAR's DEI Task Force Chair Jimmy Anderson.
Membership Committee Chair Kim Endre recognized OBAR's newly elected members, while President Doug Brindley passed out REALTOR® pins.
Property Management Director and Bowling Tournament Chair Brook Sparks picked the winning tickets for the Bowling Tourney's grand raffle prize. Maggie Carroll was the first ticket drawn and chose the 7-night stay at Deep Creek Lake in Maryland, Jennifer Musto was drawn second and received the OBX staycation that included a 3-night stay in Nags Head, a 2-day jeep rental, and a gift certificate to Saltbox Café. Special thanks to Brindley Beach Vacations & Sales, Beach Realty & Construction, Island Jeep & Car Rentals, and Saltbox Café for donating the prizes.
March Madness Chair Kathie Nesbitt recognized March Madness Bracket Winners with gift cards. Rob Nichols won the contest with 135 points. Nancy Jenkins won second place with 100 points. Laura Strickland was third with 94 points. Finally, Matt Whelan won the honor of finishing in last place.
