Just Say “No” to Buyer Love Letters

Thinking about letting your buyers submit a "Buyer Letter", commonly called a "Buyer Love Letter"?  Think again!  Under the federal Fair Housing Act and North Carolina’s State Fair Housing Act, it is unlawful to discriminate against any person in a real estate transaction based on that person’s race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.  Your buyer may accidently get you in trouble!
